Start Now

If you are serious about success, choose recreational activities that will help you to gain knowledge, develop personality and strengthen your self-confidence. You can do this through books and debates; athletic, dramatic and music clubs; courses in public speaking, first aid, social service etc. Much of this experience can be of use to you even in your office work. In this way you can prepare for bigger opportunities that will come your way. Meanwhile, they will increase your popularity among your colleagues and your prestige with your superiors. When your lazy companions throw cold water on your zeal by observing that this has no “direct” connection with your office work or the career you intend to follow. Remind them that this storing of knowledge and experience is like putting money in the bank: Some day you will be able to use it-with interest.
Now is the time to start!
